I was a school counselor at South Davis Elementary from January 2015 to February 2016. At South Davis I developed my own elementary counseling program. I created and implemented a Banana Splits group within the school. This group helps students who deal with issues including divorce or separation, loss of a parent and families in transition. I completed my final internship at Hamburg Middle School in the fall semester of 2014. As an intern, I met with students both individually and in small groups regarding personal, social and academic needs.
