Whilst working as a financial services contractor, I have had the opportunity to work with several large financial service clients, such as Lloyds Banking Group, Bank of America, Clydesdale Yorkshire Bank and The Very Group. My roles whilst working with these companies has varied but has consisted primarily of the following skill sets: • General administrative work, using Microsoft’s office suite along with bespoke client systems• Quality Assurance / Quality Checking • End to end complaint reviews • Working through customer complaints with the Financial Ombudsman Service and other external third party companies • MI / Reporting / Data Analysis • Triage, Review and Redress (end to end case completion) • Working in line with regulations such as GDRP and Anti Money Laundering which has involved regular training on these subjectsEach role has required a focused and committed attitude and exceptional attention to detail along with having the ability to confidently reach decisions and deliver a dispassionate approach to assessing colleagues work and deliver face to face feedback in a considerate and constructive manner. Many duties are target based and therefore require exceptional organizational skills, working both independently and as part of a team. Due to the nature of work being adaptable to continual change within the business has also been a key skill. I was also able to gain a greater understanding of regulatory requirements that had to be met by the Bank. Within my role as a Senior Customer Advocate Office I was able to work alongside management to create and streamline processes, which increased productivity.
