  Supervised and worked hands on with temporary summer staff and full-time grounds personnel dealing with the upkeep of portions of the college landscape, and all athletic fields. Operated all grounds equipment necessary to accomplish landscape tasks. Responsible for the appropriate application of fertilizers, and pesticides as necessary.



Adirondack Museum

  Responsible for the interpretation, and maintenance of the museum's extensive gardens and grounds. Curator of two exhibits, “Forest Communities of an Adirondack Hillside” and “Renewing the Resource: Managing the Adirondack Forests”. Contacted outside contractors for museum grounds work, and supervised a four person crew in all areas of landscape care that included: fertilizer and pesticide applications, irrigation, pruning, weeding, development of new gardens, mowing etc. Assigned gardening tasks to the museum's Volunteer Gardens and Grounds Group. Purchased all necessary equipment for grounds care within a specific yearly budget, and maintained all relevant financial records.
