David is a highly capable and knowledgeable IT profesional and businessman. His knowledge of IT systems, processes and Technology in general reflects the decades of experience he has. He is excellent with internal and external relationship development and management and is driven to achieve success in any task or goal he takes on. It was a pleasure working along side Dave and I would not hesitate for the same opportunity again.

David has a very rare gift as both a business coach and a sales person. He articulates himself too ensure that there is always benefit to the client and supplier. In the short time I have worked with David in New Zealand, he has at each engagement, added huge value to my life both personally and professionally. I believe that David will continue to positively impact businesses and people where ever he chooses to work. Thank you David

    • House Renovation - I Can Do, with YouTube. Done .... June 2019
      • Oct 2016 - Jun 2019

How to have a break, be challenged and modernize the home. I hope to learn the home building trade and identify where IoT will have an impact. From Planning to Budgeting and with the attitude, I can do with YouTube, I have set my self an 18-month activity too; Install a new kitchen, bathroom, upgrade a retaining wall, paint the house, landscape the garden with a deck and spa and to ultimately publish a PHOTOBOOK of the journey. 2 and a half years later the initial scope has been completed. Enjoy the attached PDF showing the before and after. Absolutely chuffed and have learned so much. Big thanks to so many who have helped and biggest shout to Lorne, who took the first kitchen door off and officially commenced the new rebuild. What are my learnings for the building trade? Everything is constrained by the fear of certification and insurance (overhang of the leaky home syndrome and Christchurch earthquake). Highlights, there are good tradespeople out there willing to help the home DIY. Lowlights, there are great new technologies out there, sadly most are not available in New Zealand. Why? because labour has been sub-contracted. Introducing new technologies to the lowest cost implementor is a failure to the industry. Recommendation New Zealand - time to embrace new technologies and invest appropriately in learning new and embracing change. What next? a stone pathway, fake grass, BBQ table and herb frame. It should only take half a year. :) Show less
