As the nation’s primary advocate for educational leaders, it was my responsibility to ensure that NASSP’s upheld it's duty to bring the issues of the principalship to Congress, the U.S. Department of Education, the White House, and the media. This included advising the executive director, working with the board of directors and acting as a spokesperson for the organization nationwide including testifying before Congress.
