Manage the largest regional multiple site DC with a $7M yearly operation budget comprised of 60 to 100 full-time and temporary hourly associates. • Served as member of the WMS implementation team and continue to implement WMS continuous improvements. • Partnered with HR and adapted Worksafe Safety Observation program resulting in YOY improvement. 2020 safety record concluded with 0.00 incident rate. • Collaborated with IT to pull WMS transactional data into Microsoft Power BI to develop dashboards to help automate KPI’s and streamline MDI. • Adopted Continuous Improvement practices with Kaizen’s and Gemba to drive productivity, on-time shipping, and eliminate container detention resulting in a 33% increase in container unloading productivity and 98% on time shipping. • Partnered with local and regional 3PL’s to help manage seasonal spikes in both inbound and outbound volumes to mitigate risk of service levels. • Onboarded and delivered training to both Hoover and Oreck operations after TTI acquisitions. • Introduced the idea of consolidating customers numbers versus branded customer numbers. Reduced non-value-added transactional work across the entire company. • Created customer value-add department to meet the needs of our customers eliminating the need for small production runs by OEM’s. This action pushed costs out of the distribution center P&L. • Managed to keep the site operational and Covid-19 free during the height of the pandemic with zero confirmed cases in 2020. • Recipient of the President’s Award for Excellence.
