Too many times I see hospitals purchase solutions that are over-priced and under effective. Nurses strain to learn new processes and use technology that doesn't improve their job enough to justify the expense. I take a full 360 degree approach to the particular technology challenge and uncover the gaps that are missed.From my discovery and due diligence process I create a workflow strategy that helps clinical staff communicate better with each other, different departments, physicians and most importantly the patients. Navigata was expanding its network & services throughout this region hired me to build a team of sales professionals. Navigata’s focus was on the SMB market and what made them unique was their concierge approach to their customers. On December 4, 2012 this company's assets where purchased (not the business, just the assets) and subsequently 90% of the sales and technical teams were let go that day which unfortunately didn't allow me to complete what I was hired to do.

I was hired to build the Western Canadian region (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba provinces) of channel partners focused on selling the Polycom SpectraLink Wireless phones along with Connexall middleware software. I started with 4 partners and grew to over 40 highly effective channel partners who helped us reach an average growth of 37% year over year. This also included securing the 4 major Telco's (Telus, Bell, SaskTel & MTS Allstream). The western region contributed 34% of the total annual revenue and was the second largest contributor to sales right behind Central Canada (Ontario region).
