Those two years for me and my role gave me an amazing opportunity to help take an established business into the 21st century and without Phil’s commitment and dedication to get the job done the achievements that were made would not have happened. Phil’s incredible knowledge beyond the obvious was what stood him apart from his peers and though having Phil report directly to me as COO was a little unusual this was the perfect use of Phil’s skills in closely helping me and my other C-Level executives drive quicker and better executed results. My only disappointments are that firstly I am now not working with Phil anymore but secondly that I don’t have the new role that would allow me to bring Phil along as he would be my first hire.
