During the time I worked with Katherine at the Emergency Information Coordination Unit I found her to be a very competent and reliable GIS practitioner who could handle the many challenges that arise in emergency situations. She demonstrated initiative and creativity in resolving difficult problems and was always focused on the best outcomes for the clients and the EICU. Katherine is a good communicator who relates well to managers, colleagues and clients in both work and social environments and I have no hesitation in recommending her to any prospective employer.

I had the pleasure to work with Katherine at Manly Council and I was impressed with her creativity, efficiency, eye for detail, structure, passion, friendly, customer focussed and highly professional manner. She is very adaptable in being a great team player and capable of running her own projects. In my opinion Katherine's extensive experience, enthusiasm and friendly nature will make her a great asset for any potential employer.

My current role is around scoping, development and implementation of strategies with tangible initiatives, processes, workflows and systems that enable operational staff to meet FRNSW business needs and wider emergency management requirements. In summary this includes; * Technical lead and capability project coordinator for use of remotely piloted aircraft systems (drones) in emergency management applications. * Collation and processing of all information sources relevant to bushfire and aviation within Fire District and communicating extracted situational awareness and intelligence through a variety of mediums to key stakeholders * Provide technical data expertise, incident intelligence and geospatial analysis during emergency events
