CSR Asia is a social enterprise and the leading provider of information, training, research and consultancy services on sustainable business practices in Asia. • Liaised with the Singapore media in developing a communication and marketing campaign to promote the 2011 CSR Forum which was attended by more than 100 participants across Asia. • Served as single point of contact interfacing between participants, sponsors delegates and media related to all matters regarding the Forum. • Coordinated logistics of the Forum such as securing the facilities, reviewing materials and brochures and ensuring adequate media interest and coverage for the event. • Interacted with Key Singapore Sponsors such as Nanyang Business School, Asia Pacific Breweries Limited (APB), The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and China Light & Power Company (CLP) to position their brands during the conference. • Worked with key Forum participants such as World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), British Chamber of Commerce, Singapore Exchange (SGX) and the Good Paper in ensuring materials distributed aligned to the theme of the conference. • Conducted research on the effects of “Green Washing” as it relates to CSR Trends. Volunteer, Coral Triangle Program and Sustainable Seafood Campaign

WWF is one of the world’s largest and most experienced independent conservation organizations. • Collated and developed content for the Coral Triangle Program website pages. The program addresses problems such as over fishing and destructive fishing methods including the use of dynamite across six countries in the Indo-Pacific region. It focuses on areas such as support improved governance of the Coral Triangle, promote sustainable tuna fisheries or reduce the impact of climate change and tourism. • Assisted the Coral Triangle Partnerships Manager with preparation and follow-up for the screening of “the End of the Line”, a WWF documentary film about the impact of overfishing in the oceans. • Collaborated to the Sustainable Seafood Campaign by identifying a series of fish species included within The Singapore Seafood Guide which assesses seafood traceability and sustainability to allow the best seafood choices. TWC2 is an organization that looks after the welfare of transient workers in Singapore through Research, Advocacy and Direct Services. Supported two research projects that provided an overview of the International Human Rights Law Framework on “rest status” and “trafficking law”. • “The International Legal Status of Adequate Rest’’, Efficiency and Mechanisms of Legal International instruments such as Treaties on adequate rest to be compared to Singapore’s existing Law. • “International Law and Trafficking’’, Presentation of Legal International Standards and Treaties to understand what Trafficking means under the law and how this issue can be addressed in Singapore.
