Katherine was my "super intern" while working in the communications department at Comcast. She handled everything we threw at her and was a real asset to our team--so much so that we kept her on beyond the regular term of her internship. I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Katherine as a student participant and employee of UW TRIO SSS for the past several years. In that time I have found her to be one of the most genuine and dedicated students we have worked with. She is intensely committed to doing excellent work and improving her skills as evidenced by the opportunities she has sought during her time at the UW. As an intern in public relations and public affairs on and off campus Katherine has developed skills that make her an important member of our team and will make her an asset to any team she joins.
