I only took one class with Samar in college but I will always remember how she stood out from the rest of us, as someone who was clearly going places in the world! Intelligent, articulate, steadfast, and elegant are all words I can still use with certainty when describing Samar.

I have the privilege of working side-by-side Samar as a SAFe coach at Mutual of Omaha. Samar is a gifted coach with knowledge of all things Agile. Her energy is infectious and her spunky personality will guarantee that whether at work or play, you'll be having fun when she's around. Samar pushes the people she works with to get out of their comfort zones so that they're able to reach their true potential. She challenges, motivates and inspires others to practice Agile values, and never stops challenging herself to grow. One of the things I appreciate most about Samar is her self-awareness and her drive to improve herself. I've learned a lot from her and would recommend her without reservation.

I was privileged to get the opportunity with Samar at Fanatics, where I was Scrum Master to several Infrastructure workstreams. Samar took the challenge of guiding and coaching our entire Infrastructure organization (including Leadership) while we were struggling in our Agile transformation. Her charismatic personality blended with her outstanding leadership skills fit perfectly as our Enterprise Agile Coach. Under her leadership she not only taught us when it might be appropriate to apply various Agile techniques (such as Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban, etc.), but she also established accountability among the team members, resulting in higher performance and an increase in business value being delivered on a consistent basis. She taught us to be creative, empowering teams to self-organize and do anything that works for that particular team in order to be successful. It is just amazing to witness Samar’s ability to coach executives and get them to help drive Agile adoption downward within their own organization as well as across the Enterprise. I welcome the next opportunity I have to work with such an accomplished professional!
