Rea Ventures has developed over 4,600 units of multi-family housing throughout the Southeast using conventional and public financing sources. As Vice President of Development, I was responsible for identifying and completing new development opportunities in Georgia and North Carolina. I developed 1,826 units of affordable housing (both 4% and 9% LIHTC) in Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina. Primary responsibility on these projects carried from initial site selection through underwriting/funding application to debt/equity closing. Funding experience includes 9% and 4% LIHTC equity, RAD and PBV rental assistance, USDA 538 debt, private placement bonds, Freddie TEL, and HUD 221d4 debt along with numerous local gap financing awards in Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina.
