  Started out as a photojournalist on School for Journalism in Utrecht. Carried on as a photographer for (mainly) company outings (Grontmij, professional magazines, DHV). Ended as publisher of cookery books on Port of Rotterdam and windmill the Distilleerketel in Rotterdam, together with Gerard Keijsers (check www.klapwijkenkeijsers.nl). First book was foundation of television series 'Koken op Zee' for the VPRO.

  After four years as a millwright I now work as a Communications Manager at the Foundation of Worldheritage Kinderdijk. Designed and started a Volunteer Policy that took the World Heritage to another level. Also responsible for tourist experience content. Responsible for projects like Paid Parking Team, Content of Tourist Product, Merchandise. Designed Cultural Entrepreneur Plan that helped save the financial position of this World Heritage. Member of Management Team.Also worked for the Foundation as a Voluntary miller, in my spare time of course. Show less

  Millwrighting and so maintaining the windmills of this World Heritage. Learned the carpentry craft and set out discovering the insides of a world famous windmill area. Started mouthing ideas to management.

  Organised Memorial-concert for friend who died as a miller, concert by the infamous Hackensaw Boys from Virginia USA, recorded it in sound and vision. Turned out to grow into the new CD/DVD of the band titled "For the Love of a Friend'. CD was presented at a second gig January 10th in Kinderdijk, at the start of their 2013 European Tour.
