Dr. Marshall is a unique individual, she was raised in a type "A" family. Both her parents were veterinarian and owned their practice, her bothers are successful professionals, she herself is a professional educated, skilled, dedicated and caring veterinarian. Kerri is driven to take on any challenge, no matter what the task, she will gain the skills and knowledge to meet it and solve it. In the fourteen years that I have been professional connected with Dr. Marshall, she has impressed me more than any other veterinarian. When our Veterinary Practice need Regional Management, Kerri step-up to the challenge and provided leadership to our hospital network in the greater Sacramento area. On her own she learned the skills necessary to supervise a multi-location operation. The positive effects of her great work is still being realized today in those hospitals. When the Practice required our Veterinary Recruitment team to move up a notch, we called on Kerri. Without hesitation Dr. Marshall loaded up her possessions and moved to our Corporate office to take charge of the group. Without any training in recruitment Dr. Marshall learned the needed skill-set. After getting the Selection group functioning at a high level, we again need her talent and drive in the Mid-Atlantic Region, and off she went to solve yet another challenge requiring her to learn new skills. Then back to Portland where she complete her MBA and applied that learning everyday in her roles at our main office. And finally when our Practice needed to make a major change in our proprietary software, who did we call on? Dr. Marshall. In her role as Senior Director of Medical Informatics Dr. Marshall performed with her usual drive and professionalism. Not only did she need to learn a whole new discipline (IT) she was responsible for the successful development and conversion of the key component of Banfield's business operation. Through her excellent communication skills, she collaboratively brought together all elements of the business to achieve the goal. Her team's product exceeded expectations and today it is allowing Banfield's great veterinarians and teams to deliver superior veterinary care to millions of Pets. Banfield owes much of it's phenomenal success to the performance, effort and commitment of one person, Dr. Kerri Marshall. Kerri has that rare ability to crossover into any professional discipline.
