Football League Volunteer Manager

I was recruited on a fixed term contract to manage a project to fundraise at Football League grounds across England and Wales between March-May. My role was to develop and deliver a strategy to recruit volunteers across the country, engaging with existing networks corporate partners and new potential volunteers. Key achievements  667 people signing up to volunteer at games across England and Wales  Raised £56,082.91 (with the help of matched funding by our Corporate Partners, the Royal Mail)  I organised collections at 55 Football League grounds and 5 Wembley Finals which in total had a combined attendance of over 848,771 football fans. Main duties  Liaise with all Football League clubs to arrange a fundraising collection  Work with universities, volunteering bureaus and other networks to promote the opportunity across England and Wales for recruitment  Identify and recruit Volunteer Leaders for all of the games, and provide them with a written briefing and telephone support  Research logistics for the collections and prepare briefings for all of the volunteers due to attend  Work with corporate partners, internal and external stakeholders to deliver marketing, recruitment and training plans for all volunteers across England and Wales.
