Model being replicated across the Bay Area region (annual operating budget: $16.7 Million) o Award-winning COVID-19 rapid relief effort that distributed more than $85 Million to nearly 20,000 vulnerable families through 70 networked partner organizations. Efforts continue with innovative collaborative mediation court in partnership with judges, legal services providers, landlords, and service providers o Living-wage job pathway platform for recently housed individuals to support an array of Rapid-Rehousing and interim housing providers, including rapid employment, vocational training, supported employment, and job placement and creation (budget includes $1.5 Million in braided public and private funding) • Co-Chair of the 2020-2025 Community Plan to End Homelessness, leading community-wide implementation of strategies to double the number of temporary, interim, and transitional housing solutions to serve 2,000 additional households each night, and improving the quality of life of our unsheltered residents and creating healthy neighborhoods for all. • Leading effort to shift power to people with lived experience and advance anti-racist policies and practices to address root causes of homelessness, inequity, and injustice. Efforts include creation of the Lived Experience Advisory Board to advance policies, inform funding decisions, and develop leaders in governance bodies, organizational leadership and political office, and development of grantmaking strategies and program design to address disproportionality.
