In the past years, he has been able to fascinate and inspire both students and lecturers with his extremely high level of expertise in the field of developing sports products taking into account biomechanical principles. In his nice and friendly manner, he has made even the most complex topics seem playful, which one would like to take a leaf out of his book. We are very happy to have Christian in our family of sports technology and are excited to see what else is in the future.
Gavin Ivester
I worked with Dr. Harig during his role heading up product testing for PUMA footwear and found him to be a valuable partner in exploring future design concepts in footwear. A thorough knowledge of biomechanics, standard procedures, and a strong detail orientation are necessary to perform the testing role well, and he has those-- but Dr. Harig offered much more. He's an agile, creative thinker who loves to apply the scientific method to pushing the boundaries. He clearly loves theory, but brought a certain 'street smarts' as well as strong curiosity to his work as we sought to create new knowledge in in the quest for improvements in geometry and construction of high performance athletic footwear.
