  The Migrants, Refugees and Human Trafficking Clinic aims to prevent, promote and defend the rights of migrants, especially refugees, asylum seekers, victims of human trafficking, and in general in need of special protection. Socio-legal work through the integration of academic research and legal practice, protection of fundamental human rights of vulnerable migrant population, through strategic litigation of high impact cases, remedy of protection and rights of petition before state entities, and brigades of particular attention in housing areas of vulnerable migrant population. Achieved the registry, legalization of irregular migrants, access to public health and education of more than a 150 cases from migrant population coming from Venezuela, through the presentation of remedy of protection and petition rights against state entities to protect the human rights of these migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. As a group we presented an observation to the OC-25 presented from the State of Ecuador to the Interamerican Court of Human Rights, about diplomatic asylum. Show less
