Championed portfolio, program and project management best practices within the EPMO (Enterprise Program Management Office). Our EPMO provided program planning, project management, and provide expert advice to stakeholders managing their own projects. Our primary objective was to ensure all projects supported the organizations strategic objectives and delivering programs and projects against total schedule, risk, cost, quality, scope, resource plans and expectations. Notable accomplishments • Spearheaded a project to reduce the company’s legal exposure by implementing a time and attendance system that allowed the company to comply with all legal regulations. PFC was transitioning from an in-house to an outsourced IT department and lacked the in-house resources required for the project. I delivered the project on time and budget, allowing the company to avoid millions of dollars in legal exposure. • The CFO ask me to rescue a troubled gift card project that experienced a lot of churn due to organizational changes in IT. The project objective was to change our gift card provider thus consolidating our vendors and increasing the program’s growth. The conversion required data validation and uploading of 38 million gift cards into the new gift card provider’s platform under extremely tight time and budget constraints. By applying project management fundamentals, I was able to manage the team’s resources to transition onto the new platform within five months, providing us an opportunity to leverage new sales opportunities during the critical holiday season. • Led a core digital project to increase the frequency of customer visits to PFC restaurants. The initial loyalty vendor overpromised the solution and I had to rebalance expectations on what was real. I engaged in stakeholder management to change the trajectory of the project. The new vendor platform allowed us to create online experiences tailored to customer preferences, thereby increasing brand loyalty. Show less

Procurement M.B.A. Intern
-
May 2012 - Aug 2012
The procurement internship at Henkel is a program that encompasses functional and professional development. Interns were provided challenging projects that dealt with strategic business initiatives. A formal presentation of the results of the project was presented to leadership in the procurement department of Henkel. Notable accomplishments • Researched package printing costs and leverage using a reverse auction of print jobs to save $200K in costs. The reverse auction was structured to identify the cost structure within packaged printing that could be used to reduce overall spend. • Reduced non-packing printing costs by at least 14% of EBITDA through process improvements. • Updated 7,300 SAP classifications of suppliers and products to improve fiscal management.
