As the company’s most senior End User Technologies advisor , the EUT Architect is accountable for the strategic development of the global End User Technology environment. The EUT Architect will provide technical expertise, strategic planning and recommendations to executive management for new end user technologies and applications in response to business needs. Working with internal & external partners will evaluate and design solutions for business and customer requirements which will integrate with and enhance the existing End User Technologies Service Catalogue. The EUT Architect will apply complex design principles and methodology to ensure cost-effective and optimal use of resources and technology without risking integrity. Main initiatives driven as Technical Lead (responsible for design/implementation): - Windows 10 migration from Windows 7: technical migration process, Windows 10 build definition (moved from 14 builds to two, one for Backoffice and one for the Process, automation using SCCM, Standardized PC client fleet to 5 models instead of 20, standardize procurement process; - Windows as a Service, technical process to upgrade in place from one version of Windows 10 to another using SCCM; - Improving compliance management using SCCM: from 80 to 95% Update compliance on Windows Clients; - Apple MAC Management using Jamf; - Windows Virtual Desktop pilot to allow access Glanbia Workplace and resources from any personal device at home; - Windows Autopilot to embrace Modern Management and stop imaging clients - Microsoft 365 apps (Office 365 Pro Plus) migration from Office 2016 - OneDrive from business to retire homeshares and embrace modern personal data solution; - Mixed Reality MS Hololens 2 lab identifying use cases (Dynamics 365 Remote Assist and Guides)
