All of my life experiences lead me to this opportunity. To utilize my education, talents, passion, and lived experience to serve in a capacity to help California improve and empower the lives of California's youth experiencing homelessness, disconnection, and instability. It has been an honor to serve as Executive Director and dedicate over 17 years to CCY, starting as a Youth Advisory Board Member. And while receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from the California State University Channel Islands, CCY remained a priority. My passion for serving youth populations comes from lived experience with homelessness, the foster care system, and being a disconnected youth, which gives me a vast understanding of the vital work CCY is doing. I am excited to lead CCY forward, answer the call of thousands of youth in need of support, and spearhead the effort to advocate for public policies, programs, and investments that empower and improve the lives of California's youth, especially those experiencing homelessness, disconnection, and instability.
