This is a short term contract, due to finish in April 2021.Mount Isa City Council reticulates drinking water provided in bulk by Mount Isa Water Board. The city has approx. 7,300 water connections. The Council provides sewerage collection and treatment services, and also has an extensive recycled water network.

This includes Gympie, Cooloola Cove, Rainbow Beach, Tin Can Bay and several other towns and villages. While at Gympie I led the introduction of a maintenance management system for the water and sewer treatment plants and networks. Managed the day-to-day operation of the water and sewerage networks for Unitywater. The Network Operations Branch comprised four sections: Engineering Operations, Operations Centre, Business Resilience and Analytics. Provided leadership and management to 52 professional staff with an annual budget of $12 million. Provided oversight of the operation of the water and sewer reticulation networks, including the 24/7 Operations Centre. Delivered the Energy Reduction Program, aimed at reducing energy costs by 19% by 2017-18. Also provided oversight of the corporate business resilience capability including incident response.
