      I was given the opportunity to join BSBG in their studio in Ho Chi Minh as Senior Architectural Technologist and to lead the office from a technical point of view. My role is to provide technical support to the Architectural team and provide support on all things technical in terms of details, etc. I have been involved with numerous projects since joining and most notably the Island Project in Dubai, which comprises of three hotel assets as well as numerous other buildings on a man-made island for which i was involved with the production of the various package deliverables in Revit, liaising with the Architects team in Dubai , performing clash detection with Navisworks, providing standard details where needed.Other projects in have been involved with are Dubai Mall, Mercedes Benz flagship store and boutique hotel, Souk Madinat Jumeirah redevelopment, Al Barsha residential tower, JLT penthouses, IKEA and Big Box retail project, Jebel Ali park all in Dubai and Green Park Hotel and Portman Hotel in london

      Projects involved with after Home Park, Plymouth:- Life Sciences Building, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield. Envelope Technical lead- Specialist & Critical Care Centre, South Wales. Envelope Technical lead. After returning to the Bristol studio from AD I took the lead on developing the external facade details to deliver the tender packages for the £50m redevelopment of Home Park, Plymouth. This is a multiple use development comprising of a new Grandstand for Plymouth Argyle Football Club, Ice Centre, Hotel, multi-screen cinema & retail outlets.Prior to the Home Park project I spent 8 months on secondment with the BDP MENA office in Abu Dhabi (Dec '12 - July '13) delivering the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel & High class retail and dining projects which formed parts of the Central Market Redevelopment Project (originally a Fosters & Ptnrs design and subsequently awarded to BDP to guide through detailed design stage and to completion. My main responsibilities were delivering the design and coordination of the external facades for both assets which consists of mainly curtain walling, GRC cladding and render. Project completion is due mid 2014.I re-joined BDP at their Bristol studio in order to assist in delivering the various packages of the entire external facade of the new £430m Southmead Hospital in Bristol. This includes producing detailed construction drawings and coordination of fabricators shop drawings for facade elements including curtain walling, glazing, terracotta rain screen cladding, recon stone cladding and various types of masonry, incl. Pennant stone and Engineering brickwork. This task involved attending meetings at all levels and in a variety of capacities including travelling to Italy every month to attend DTM's with the main external facade subcontractors design team in order to develop the various aspects of the design. Project completion date is mid-2014 for phase 1 & end of 2015 for phase 2.

      During my time at Coda I was in involved with coordination of the internal fit-out of the new John Lewis store in Cambridge and which required travelling to site weekly to conduct site inspections and attend various meetings with client, contractor and sub-contractors.Upon completion of this project I was involved with the delivering of construction package information and then with the on-site delivery of firstly, the new Stroke Rehabilitation Unit at Cheltenham Hospital and then the new Women's Services Redevelopment building at Gloucester Hospital. Both of which required extensive on-site presence in order to undertake site inspections and attend meetings with both client, contractor and sub-contractors alike as well producing a large number of construction details etc required for the successful completion of the projects.
