Billy and I were on the Talent Leadership team together at Carbon Health, and it was immediately apparent how much I would learn from him. I was hired at Carbon Health to lead the Talent technology stack. They were going live with Workday during my first week so I expected to jump into a heavy workload since they didn’t have a systems leader in place. I was completely wrong — Billy had taken this on, not just helping with project build and execution, but also built all training docs and led those meetings for internal users to ensure a smooth transition. I was blown away by how collected Billy was through this process, because he made it look as though he had technical experience managing systems in the past. Throughout my time at Carbon, Billy and I collaborated on countless projects. He is focused on the bigger picture, yet somehow doesn’t miss any minor details. While working with Billy, I knew I would always be part of a successful project. He also is one of the stronger Project Managers I have every worked with. When we would wrap up projects, I would look for the next one that we could collaborate on. He truly made my job easier.

Billy has a special and unique way of making people feel seen and heard, which created a level of transparency within the team that would break through any roadblock that was presented. In addition to being a great leader, Billy is also an incredible project manager. He's extremely organized, pays close attention to important details, and is able to quickly identify potential risk and guide stakeholders and team members towards a successful outcome. When it comes to keeping the project team in alignment, he's very skilled at gathering very complex in visually breathtaking presentations and presenting in a crystal clear manner.
