This was being achieved by relying on robotic frameworks such as ROS, to carry out the parallel analysis of network and… Show more Was involved in multiple research, development and management activities: Coordinator and founder of several research initiatives such as: Coordinator of the ICARuS Framework – Inteligent Cooperative Autonomous Reliable Systems The objective of the framework was to bring increased safety and security into autonomous, cooperating Cyber-Physical Systems. This was being achieved by relying on robotic frameworks such as ROS, to carry out the parallel analysis of network and control perspective in cooperative CPS systems, leveraging in-house developed technology as much as possible. In addition to this research line, efforts also done in sustaining research on the analysis and improvement of IoT underlying protocols such as IEEE 802.15.4 and IEEE 802.15.7. Coordinator of the CarVING framework - CoopeRAtive veHicle INterest Group on inter and intra-vehicle communications for highly automated vehicles. Member of the Board od Directors between 2018 and 2019 Extensive R&D Project Procurement activities – expertise in European projects with high industry involvement.
