David is a very thorough Quality Specialist whom I had the pleasure of having audit me 3 yrs. in a row. :) However, whenever I had questions regarding policies he always had time to help answer any question I had. Dave always took the time out to show me the tools to help me better my department and to better understand my role. If I didn't always understand he had the patience to calmly explain any policy or guideline until I fully understood. I found myself always referring to him when I thought I may have misunderstood a policy or two or five. :) He is always very personable, making it easy to talk to him when I needed the help. I hope he has much success in whatever he endeavors.

Assisted engineering teams initiate new technology and developed new projects. Researched influences of key performance attributes, such as processing. Studied behavior of materials under stress at every stage of processing. Performed scanning electro-microscopy (SEM) analysis on alloys. Investigated effects of electro-coating. Prepared sample and optical metallography of alloys. • Prevented remakes and reduced lost time by planning, organizing, and coordinating machine time and monitoring to completion 100% of all production improvement and new product experiments. • Eliminated subcontracting need for testing requirements and saved money by developing internal micro- section and scanning electron microscope procedures for evaluating fixed abrasive wire production samples. • Minimized cycle time, equipment requirements, raw materials, and energy consumption 66% by developing a bench process, eliminating 2 steps in fixed abrasive wire manufacturing process, which was turned over to Process Engineering for production implementation. • Reduced need in remaking 80% of Research & Development experiments by designing and implementing effective workflows and procedures. • Streamlined fixed wire abrasive production processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying issues, and implementing solutions.
