      "Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center" or MDMC for short. This institution was initiated in 2007 under the name "Disaster Management Center" which was then confirmed as an institution tasked with coordinating Muhammadiyah resources in disaster management activities by the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership after the 2010 Congress. MDMC is engaged in disaster management activities in accordance with the definition of disaster management activities both in Mitigation and Preparedness activities, Emergency Response and also Rehabilitation. MDMC adopts the code of ethics of humanitarian volunteerism and the internationally accepted humanitarian charter, develops a disaster risk reduction mission in line with the Hygo Framework for Action and develops a base of preparedness at the community, school and hospital levels as the basis of the Muhammadiyah movement since 100 years ago. MDMC is engaged in disaster activities throughout the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, according to the territory of the legal entity of the Muhammadiyah Association which in its operations develops MDMC at the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership level (Province) and MDMC at the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership level (District).
