I look forward to my new role this school year as the Dean of Students. This will give me the opportunity to continue to develop and grow positive relationships with our student population. As a team - our staff works closely together to help support the "whole" student. We are student advocates who help to move students into their next steps upon completion/graduation.

In this previous role as the Classroom Projects Coordinator - I worked closely with all students to help prepare them for their next steps after graduation.

Instructional Projects Coordinator

As an Instructional Projects Coordinator - I worked closely with staff and students to implement projects in the district. My role also included creating professional development programs, working with new staff (and Resident Educators), assigning and tracking school safety courses for staff, leading and serving on many district committees, and promoting, support, and practicing new technologies within the classroom and building.

Architecture/Engineering Technologies Instructor

• Jul 1993 - Jul 2010

Hired in July of 1993 to develop a CTE drafting program at DACC, the program evolved and continued for 17 years. This helped me to grow as an educator and teacher leader, while supporting students and other staff.
