I was fortunate enough to work with Drew for 6 years in the Government and Community Relations Department at Mosaic Life Care. Drew was an outstanding member of our team, and I have always been impressed by his professionalism, work ethic and positive nature. Drew held the position of Youth Health Coordinator in our department, but he did so much more than this role would indicate. Drew constantly demonstrated his exceptional organizational and creative skills and extensive knowledge of technology, fitness, nutrition and mindfulness. In particular, he led the 4th Grade Challenge health and fitness program in 24 elementary schools, taught Kids in the Kitchen healthy cooking classes and managed all of the school and community gardens. He also had countless speaking engagements, including one at a national childhood obesity conference, and participated in many health fairs and health education events. Drew also has excellent graphic design skills, and produced a superior monthly newsletter and the impressive yearly Youth Health Partnership Report. In addition to Drew’s impressive portfolio of professional accomplishments, he has a wonderful personality. He is warm and friendly and willing to step in and help anyone on the team or in the organization. He is also amazing with children, which made him so successful in this role. He became a real role model to them, inspiring them to lead a healthier life Unfortunately, due to downsizing during the Covid-19 pandemic, I will no longer have the pleasure of working with Drew. Watching Drew perform his job over the past years, I assure you that he will more than excel in the role.
