I got lots of information and experience from my 20 day internship at MAPA Machinery Parts Inc. I have met many people who have experience in different fields and have benefited from their experience. I had the opportunity to practice the theoretical knowledge that I had seen at school when I traveled with the Maintenance-Repair Team, and thanks to it the information I learned theoretically became more clear in my mind. On the one hand while I was practicing the theoretical knowledge I know, on the other hand I learned extra information and methods. I experienced business life. For the first time I worked in such a big factory. I have seen the steps that have been taken to create a clutch’s parts, and how these parts have been brought together to form a clutch. I had information about how the machines, such as the press, furnace, lathe, milling machine, etc., which are producing, work and what they do. I understand the importance and difficulty of factory management and production planning. I learned how the weekly and monthly production amount is calculated according to the customer order and quantities in stock. I learned that teamwork is important for a job to happen properly, that everyone has to fulfill their responsibilities, otherwise they affect all production. Each section has its own task and the product that comes out of one section is the material of another section. The influences of other departments of good or bad results in one department made me realize that communication and exchange of information between departments is a big influence on the speed of production.
