Claire comes across incredibly well, has a genuine passion for what she does coupled with the ability to articulate this to both technical and non-technical people. Claire is smart, professional and polite and it was a real pleasure helping her secure her next career move.

I have worked with Claire both at ITV and on a small micro-blogging project, called Goalpostr, where she helped out as the design lead. She is not only an excellent designer, but also a proficient front-end developer. And very importantly she has a great eye for user experience design and information architecture.

Key parts of my role are the build, maintenance and iteration of patterns throughout Dotdigital products. I am primarily responsible for css and global UI elements, the promotion of high standards and ensuring consistency in both visual and code quality - I am detail conscious and always aim to keep the user in mind. Following on from my previous role as a junior designer at itv.com, I moved to front end development as I found myself more engaged with implementation than design. There was an ever increasing level of responsibility: leading development for major properties; producing standards documentation for Front End Development within the company and UI development for ITV Player (PS3 and .com refresh). To enable our small team to be freed up from smaller custom builds for lower profile properties I worked on conceptualising and driving forward the development of a core set of flexible templates and modules for use within the bespoke CMS. This project enabled the department to reduce both development and design time required for a series section by providing a solid base for theme application. Show less

My role centres around the design, build and implementation of new microsites into the content management system.I have worked on a range of sites each varying in scale and development effort; small scale adaptations of existing CMS templates, full custom HTML builds and worked closely with a third party vendor to deliver a social networking community for an ITV daytime show.

The role involved the maintenance, editing and publishing of existing content on the HSE website, the creation of new sections and revision of existing parts of the site. This included ensuring provided content conformed to the house style, copy and visual, and also ensuring all coding conforms to the W3C standards. During my time with HSE we received 10/10 from SiteMorse for standards compliance and accessibility, also reaching the top of the ranking list of UK government websites.
