Zsolt Pentz
The impact Dávid had on both my professional and personal growth in the 8 months he managed me at Bitrise would be hard to overstate. He's a true modern-age leader with great knowledge and passion for tech, and devotion to the people around him. Amongst many things, he taught me how to get better at getting better, how to get better at failing, and how to communicate better. Any company would benefit from having Dávid on their team!

I worked with David at Ustream and IBM for years. I saw him in engineer and leader roles as well. We attended some training and conferences together, and I mentored him for several months recently - this mentorship was very valuable to both of us. On top of the generic skillset leaders who started as an engineer usually has (like Agile, Devops, technologies, scalability, security, working with remote teams...), I would emphasize two fields that are very important nowadays. Based on my experiences David is a conscious, human-focused, open-minded, and brave explorer. He has a growth mindset, learns continuously and loves experimenting with bleeding-edge methods. He balances innovation and efficiency well, as he is an experienced Getting Things Done user. David is also very good at providing specific feedback that can boost the performance of others.
