  As a National Senior Director at the American Cancer Society's Advocacy affiliate (ACS CAN) I have the pleasure of working with volunteers at all levels of the organization to engage them in impacting the fight against cancer through political action. My team is responsible for integrating our Advocacy campaigns into 5000 Relay For Life events, nearly 400 Making Strides Against Cancer events, and into our very successful organization of campus volunteers through Colleges Against Cancer. I manage the membership recruitment efforts for the organization which brings in over $750,0000 annually. I am also responsible for a very large scale fundraising event that happens annually at the US Capitol Reflecting pool which involves major corporate donors and A-list celebrities.
