Developing software to build a low cost neuroprosthetic hand. Using Python and C++, I have wrote code that analyzes signals from EMG (electromyography) readings, and uses that output to control a motor which then controls motion of the fingers on the hand. Working on building in an EEG (electroencephalography) component to the prosthetic, which will allow more precise control of the hand by using machine learning libraries to analyze signals directly from the brain (without a muscle intermediary).
