Andrew and I worked closely together on a daily newscast in Los Angeles--one of the busiest newsrooms in the U.S. Despite the demanding and often stressful environment, Andrew was a calm and confident leader. I often marveled at Andrew's ability to write concise and compelling copy under arduous deadlines. He is especially adept at taking in large amounts of information and determining what is important. With top-notch editing skills, he is able to quickly and competently create compelling storytelling. Simply put, Andrew is an incredible visual storyteller, with the ability to marry words and pictures to attract an audience. Despite demanding deadlines, Andrew was always someone management and his co-workers could depend on for the most challenging tasks. Andrew has the intelligence and ability to immediately assess a situation, react and get the job done. His time management skills are top notch. He's also a natural team leader, intently and respectfully listening to others. He is just the kind of guy any organization would be lucky to have on their team!

Andrew is all of the things co-workers want when they go into the office. He's smart, accomplished, patient, and wise. I was lucky to have worked with Andrew at KCBS/KCAL. For a long time, he and I did the same overnight shifts together. Those are some of the toughest assignments in the business. Throughout it all, he demonstrated a consistent professionalism and endurance that will make him a valuable member of any team.
