Amy impressed me with her ability to quickly make sense of new data sets, pick up new skills, and craft high-quality analyses and thoughtful presentations to share her findings. As a summer Fellow, she really took ownership over the projects assigned to her and quickly became an invaluable member of the team. Her projects included analyzing results from a teacher exit survey and implementing the survey for the second year; looking at retirement data over the last 5 years, and assessing our current school-level data reports and making recommendations for improvement.

I had the pleasure of working with Amy when she interned with City Year during her studies at Stonehill College. Amy was thoughtful, dedicated and conscientious. She followed through on projects and task and was good at knowing when to seek additional input and guidance versus when to be proactive. I got a chance to see Amy in another, more external facing, voluteer role with a Boys and Girls Club near her campus. She had led efforts to organize a significant fundraising event for the organization and it was clear that she was respected and appreciated by staff, board and donors alike.
