  The WBF is an international organization located in Tirana Albania, founded by the governments of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.   ABA ROLI’s Balkans Regional Rule of Law Network (BRRLN) program began as a USAID-funded program in 2013 to unite bar associations, civil society organizations (CSOs) and journalists to tackle the most pressing defense advocacy issues in Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH), Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia. As originally planned, the Network received its registration as an independent local Macedonian organization in January 2017, and ABA ROLI has begun the process to transfer the management of Network to a local entity. My role in the organization was to support the Program activities with special focus on the BRRLN Network. I was providing the Network with support to develop a formal framework for continued operations, build its capacity to become operationally and financially sustainable during and after the transition, and to continue to respond to the needs of the Network’s advocates, bar associations and CSOs.
