Christa was born to be an educator. She is a natural and it seems to come so easily for her. She is compassionate, patient, and is a team player who gets along with everyone. She is an extremely hard worker who loves a challenge and stays positive. I am excited about working with her as a teacher next year. She will make a perfect addition to our teaching staff. Crista is one of the most exciting (and excited) educators I know. She is passionate about teaching her students, and teaching them to the best of her ability. She is gifted at utilizing tools such as Google Classroom, and even led a learning session for our school! Crista is an educational pioneer at our school. She inspires her students and her co-workers.

I am extremely honored to have been offered a full-time teaching position this coming school year. Because of my background in Integrative Studies, finding commonalities between Math, English, Reading and Technology will be an exciting challenge to look forward to. I cannot wait to get to know a new group of students, reconnect with last year's, and work together with a great team of professionals to make this school year amazing!

My responsibilities include aiding teachers and other staff in jobs such as copying, filing, grading papers, delivering messages, sending emails, and other projects. I also am responsible for aiding in classrooms with a higher number of struggling children and providing them with one-on-one attention, or presenting their work as modified, in order to help them succeed. I cover content mastery periods to give extra help to those same students and supervise a response to intervention (RTI) class two days a week. Lastly, I am responsible for substituting for teachers, which requires high levels of flexibility and teamwork. Show less

This position included responsibilities having to do with the daily care of children ages 2-3. My co-teacher and I developed lesson plans, art lessons, games and led group activities. We served meals, snacks and took care of daily personal hygiene needs of children in this age group. We worked closely with families to develop a potty training routine catered to the individual child and planned curriculum to aid in the social and educational development of the children in our care. Skills necessary for this position were a close attention to detail, first aid certification, customer service and good communication skills, high levels of patience and flexibility, and love for children.
