I supported the 'NITUNZE' ecd project implemented in Kisumu and Siaya County by Kisumu Development Program with funding from ChildFund International through the Conrad Hilton N. Foundation. The project aimed to support children 0-5 years affected by HIV/AIDS meet developmental milestones supported by responsive men and women caregivers. Responsibilities& Achievements: ------------------------------------ ★ Manage and monitor the implementation of the project. I supported project evaluation through the development of the evaluation tools, data collection, data entry and analysis as well as writing of the final report. ★ Undertake mentoring and training of community health workers in aspects of child care and protection strategies, this resulted in increased caregivers knowledge on stimulation and positive parenting interventions. ★ Prepared BvA analysis, project reports, conducted home visits and assessments and documentation of the project progress. ★ Collaborate and coordinate with governmental institutions, partners and community level structures in order to promote community ownership and sustainability of child care initiatives.
