Looking after complete factory utilities (Chillers, Compressors, R.O. Plant, ETP). Analyzing of utility data in ERP software to explore opportunities for improvement and to ensure resources (gas/water/electricity) are consumed as per budgeted. Along with utility, looking after small refinery (chemical recyclable plant) to offset purchasing of high costly chemical. Responsible for operations/maintenance of all HVAC and utility equipment. Moreover, my responsibility also includes raising improvement ideas and projects that will lead to cost saving and environment/business sustainability. Some of the improvement projects are mentioned below,1- Installation of NFPA20 Standard Vertical Turbine Fire Water Pumps & successful commissioning2- Approval of design/ procurement/installation and commissioning of 800RT Centrifugal Chiller3- Installation of dual fuel burner at Plant replacing old inefficient single fuel burner saving cost of 1.4 million PKR annually4- Complete replacement of rusted/corroded compressed air pipelines with Aluminum as per standard to save 150000 KWH annually5- Purchasing of Air Compressor based on Hot Oil Heat Recovery model serving hot water to meet factory requirement thereby reducing gas consumption by 2% (Annual Savings 2 Million PKR)6- Redesigning of refrigeration based chillers to centralized chilled water based chiller saving CPF 40000 Tons and Electrical Saving (60000 KWH annually)Beside this, my responsibility also includes preparation and approval of CAPEX, to enforce preventive maintenance programs of area equipment including calibration, lubrication etc. & to remove non-conformances raised by an auditor during Internal/external audit by taking appropriate action.
