Subsequently, I earned my ASA designation, was admitted as an Enrolled Actuary, and became a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. I was fortunate enough to work with several plan types and was involved in many different interesting and complex projects. I performed both actuarial and administrative tasks during my stay here. This was a smaller firm, so I was exposed to many different aspects of the business. I prepared actuarial reports for the lead actuary, and I also accepted phone calls from participants who had questions regarding their pension benefits.
