Don provided me an opportunity that has made me the man I am today. After graduating Florida State University, Don made me a member of his team at 180 Communications. We specialized in sports public relations, communications and marketing. Although we had A LOT of balls in the air individually, Don demonstrated the importance of working and communication as a team. He knows how important it is for a team to work in unison, Who would have thought...He appreciates the value of connecting with individuals on a personal level and that is extremely evident in his presentations. If you're looking for an event speaker, I would highly recommend Don. Thank you DY!

I first met Don Yaeger six years ago while sitting in the audience as he moved a group of over 500 IT Professionals. I was so impacted by his message as it transcended sports and spoke to "the heart and soul of Greatness". From that day forward we became friends and I hired Don to speak at many Microsoft events and coach my teams on teamwork and leadership. Don's work was highly impactful to my organization and soon he was helping other groups at Microsoft and at our partners. Don is the real deal in both his personal and professional life and I highly recommend him to any organization looking to effect change or impact culture !

I have authored more than 35 books, 11 of them New York Times best-sellers. I also deliver nearly 100 motivational keynote presentations annually to audiences as diverse as Fortune 25 companies, cancer survivor groups, and associations on four major subjects:- What Makes The Great Ones Great: A study on individual habits of high performance. This speech is popular for sales meetings or gatherings of high performers in any industry.- What Makes The Great Teams Great: Based on a book released in 2016 which covers interviews with 110 of the best team-builders in sports and another dozen from business (including CEOs of Southwest Airlines, Microsoft and Boeing, among others). This is best for leadership meetings. - What Makes a Great Teammate: I teach you how to be invaluable without being most valuable. This universal lesson is one that is applicable to anyone in an organization from those at entry level positions to top level management. Fly the ‘W’ as I break down business-applicable lessons that can be learned from former Cubs catcher David Ross and a World Series for the Ages, and many more.- The Power of Storytelling: This keynote speech teaches the 10 Elements of Well-Told Story. He takes each audience member through a journey from their scribbled down ideas to a place where they are able to tell their story in a way that provides lasting impact and deeper relationships. During my tenure at Sports Illustrated, I worked on many of the magazine’s most significant and groundbreaking stories, including the first national investigation of steroids and their influence in baseball; the future of Internet sports gaming and its potential to influence the games; as well as the horrific efforts of Saddam Hussein’s son, Uday, in shaping the Iraqi Olympic Committee and Uday’s torture of Iraqi athletes when they didn’t perform up to his standards. I conducted more than 2,000 interviews with everyone from the President of the United States to some of the greatest athletes of our time. On the flip side, I was interviewed more than 100 times on many national television talk shows, including: Oprah, Nightline, Good Morning America, CNN, 20/20, Dateline and Fox. Show less
