There are moments we just need to stop. Stop to reflect, redirect, experience something new, stop to hear ourselves, and that’s what motivated me for a “sabbatical semester” in Asia. It took me a lot of courage to leave my comfort zone and dive into this different continent in an unplanned journey. And so, it went on: living in complete silence with monks in a Buddhist monastery, trekking the Himalayas up to the Everest Base Camp in Nepal, taking block printing and silver jewelry courses in India, scuba diving certification in Indonesia, and even graduating as an international yoga teacher. After fully living and exchanging with all these countries and cultures, it’s impossible to come back the same. I have always been a communicative and energetic person, but my new version is definitely much more adaptable, spontaneous, brave, open to uncertainty, self-conscious and serene. Now it’s time to see how this new version handles the next adventure! Show less

      • Jan 2015 - Dec 2015

In a selection process of 17.000 candidates, 10 trainees were selected for the 2015 Program. As a trainee I had multiple responsibilities related to my usual work and the trainee program. I continued with Expansion projects, gained responsibility for the Greenfield projects, was part of the creation of the Pre-Construction Area and had my own trainee project related to the Sales Area. In New Business Area I maintained my responsibilities below and started monitoring the budget of all Expansion and Greenfield projects. In the Pre-Construction Area I was part of the team that created the approval flow for all projects and control reports for the Executive Board. During the one-year trainee program we were separated into pairs which had their own project, related to an area which we didn’t have any knowledge about. The project followed the Greenbelt methodology which we learned from an external consulting agency. We developed the first retail pricing model that was used by the Sales and New Business Area and implemented it in all brMalls Expansion and Greenfield projections. It was an intense but very rewarding year specially because of all the teamwork in it involved. From the 5 Trainee projects presented to the company, ours was rated the top one. Show less
