I'm currently teaching English and Film as Literature at Bronx Aerospace High School. I recently completed 3 years of service at The High School for Dual Language and Asian Studies—a top-tier public high school in the country—located on the Lower East Side neighborhood of Manhattan. While there, I taught ENL and Film as Literature classes. Before joining HSDLAS, I did 3 years of teaching at a Sunset Park, Brooklyn middle school called The John J. Pershing Intermediate School. While there, I served as a teacher, a supervisor of student teachers from Hunter college and Adelphi University, a mentor in the NTD (New Teacher Development) program, and as the Grade Content Leader for the 8th grade ESL department.
