In my role as a sustainability advisor, I mainly worked in the area of responsible supply chain management, CSR strategy development CSR assurance and CSR reporting and communication. Examples of projects related to responsible supply chain management are the development of sustainable procurement policies, the development of the VBDO Responsible Supply Chain Benchmark, the development of Ethical Codes/Codes of Conduct and the organization of stakeholder sessions and workshops. In the area of CSR strategy development, I have developed CSR strategies for multinational organizations, mainly in the food and beverage industry. In the role as an auditor of sustainability reporting, I have audited sustainability reports of multinational organizations in different sectors, mainly in the food and beverage industry and other companies in the FMCG sector. In 2010, I initiated the Fairtrade University Campaign. The concept is derived from the Fairtrade Town Campaign, and is supported by the Fairtrade Organizations in the Netherlands. After setting up the campaign together with a team of enthousiastic students, I took the lead in the implementation of the campaign at the Erasmus University. Key successes were a trip with 25 students to the United Nations Climate Conference in Copenhagen, the initiative of the Fairtrade University Campaign and the implementation of the campaign at the Erasmus University.
