I had the pleasure of meeting Preston through a mutual connection at UC Davis. During my interactions with Preston I developed a high regard for him based off his work ethic. Preston is very passionate about computer science and is particularly keen on blockchain technology. He has all the makings of a great programmer and is always curious to learn more. Along with his technical skills, Preston is very well versed at written and verbal communication. I am very impressed with Preston and would give him my strongest recommendation as a valuable network connection.

ASPIRES Scholars Program - Intern
-
Jan 2017 - Jan 2017
The two-week ASPIRES program has taught me of data acquisition for a research or project. This program has also provided me opportunities to apply for summer internships. During week one of the program, I learned to extract information from a research paper and present it through PowerPoint slideshow to my fellow colleagues. On the second week, I teamed up with brilliant people to build a successful project with Arduino. In this project, we did some programming on a sensor to compute the distance of a moving object.
