I bought my first bike here when I was 4-years-old and continued to support this independent shop until I started working here in 2015. Transitioned to a leadership role and lead a team of more than 20 sales associates. Since then, I’ve worked to both sustain the shop’s sales and strengthen its role as a community hub. My work at The Arrow focused on improving our fundraising and expanding our reach. Not only did I help our authors create more accessible, non-academic content, I also helped streamline a more structured fundraising and development process. This process, coupled with research into additional funding sources and messaging tailored for different opportunities, helped the publication to dramatically increase its funding.
