As the team lead, I oversee the day-to-day operations of our dynamic team, consisting of both support and system engineers with the primary objective to enhance and optimize our IT landscape. Our division, Internal IT NL, is an integral part of the global IT operations team, tasked with the gigantic responsibility of migrating and centralizing all team.blue systems and platforms by reducing/consolidating the current application set from approximately 400 local applications into a more streamlined set of 80 global applications . The NL team provides support to approximately 400 employees locally and 2200 globally. In my capacity as a team leader, my primary goal is to proactively prevent problems and escalations, all while streamlining and automating routine tasks. In addition to coordination and leadership responsibilities, I oversee daily and weekly team meetings and serve as the point of contact for the regional updates and contribute to global brain trusts within the realm of global IT. Our ongoing projects, both on a local and global scale, include: - Testing and implementing a Mobile Device Management solution (MDM): We are exploring, testing and implementing a MDM with a specific focus on Microsoft Intune where the NL team will be the pilot for the global team - Enhancing IAM procedures, hardware rollouts, and MS 365 Policies for the NL Tenant: We are actively working to refine our Identity and Access Management (IAM) procedures, optimize hardware deployment processes, and align Microsoft 365 policies to meet the needs of our security department and to prepare for the migration to the global tenant - Implement MS SharePoint as the new filesharing platform replacing and phasing out multiple legacy fileshares - Application set reduction: our ambitious goal is to streamline the application portfolio from approximately 400 local applications to a more manageable 80 applications on a global scale Show less
