Kilian was a fellow student at maHKU in 2006. I was very interested by Kilian's Master thesis 'Corporate Colonalism', a research on the omnipresence of brands in the public domain. A good story in a professionally designed book which was, looking at the world today, way ahead of its time.

Curiosity evokes change. I help people and organizations find, create and share their own stories. Through collaborative and purpose-driven storytelling Let’s Explore Publishers and the collaborative partners generate awareness, evoke change and/or inspire others to share their stories as well. I believe in a world in which people are open-minded and sincerely curious about what others have to say, learn from the stories of others and strive to live an inspired and inspiring life. — Let’s Explore Magazine started as an online platform where I published stories about inspiring people, places, projects and ideas. These stories were submitted by international storytellers, bloggers and photographers or created by myself. In 2015 I successfully kickstarted the printed magazine, which simultaneously launched my company Let’s Explore Publishers. I now create and publish a 176-page, when-ready, quality-first magazine in collaboration with storytellers from across the globe, sharing stories that explore themes like Belonging, Crossroads, Perseverance and Empowerment. Responsibilities: • developing and implementing (mostly) online strategies for creating and maintaining brand awareness; • coaching international contributors in crafting their submissions through brainstorming sessions and conversations; • growing online presence and engaging with stakeholders in order to expand & commit the community; • project management regarding submitted stories, (theme) launches and (sales) campaigns; • development and execution of campaigns for the launch of themes, issues & partnership possibilities; • raising funds to keep the magazine ad-free, through partnerships and freelance design- & consultancy projects; • art direction, design, pre-press and distribution fulfilment of printed magazine. With Decade of Action, our aim is to flip our system 180 degrees: the end goal is to get to a system that is in balance with our planet's resources. One that works with nature, instead of killing it. That chooses life instead of death. The three most effective tipping points for systems change have been identified: Re-Generation, Re-Connection and Re-Growth. Collaborations have been started between the best scientists and indigenous leaders, social entrepreneurs, youngsters and creatives. We need a new system if we want to motivate people to leave the old one. And we need creative culture to shape that future, to tell the stories and help develop the new paradigms. Our mission is to make ourselves redundant within 10 years. Within that time frame, we will have to get to the desired and needed systems change; a change in values, norms, policy and behaviour. 10 years of campaigning and mobilizing; connecting people, touching their hearts, changing, uniting. 10 years of coming together in unity and a balanced life with our planet. Show less
